SWEDEN 2009
February sees the huge influx of Challenge visitors to the Malung Commune in Sweden, where the travellers embark on an intense course of skill learning, on the Frozen Lakes.
Ice Truckers it is not, however the learners will experience similar conditions, with temperatures down to -25 C.
The lake has over 11km of changing surface, with slow, medium and fast courses, its is designed to coach all experience levels.
Keep an eye on the forum for details of what is happening, plus the guys glowing reports from the frozen lakes.
With the growl of Subarus, the rasp of Peugeots , the Roar of the mighty BMW and the warble of 5 cylinder Quattro. It’s a cacophony of sound, coupled to an amazing vista of Snow & Ice.
The warm chalets await after a full day driving and its then when the stories come out, of who had the biggest slide, who was fastest etc.
