Evening all. One of the wires on the FTM 110 intercom has a blue sleeve on the connector end (helmet), this related to the mike being lower but which is which? Is the Blue Navs side or drivers?

Thanks....

Well.......

I thought it was blue for drivers (and that's the way Mart Auskerin has his), but multiple independent tests* showed that blue was quieter so that's now the Nav's for me.

[*trying it both ways round]

Don't you want the co-driver to be the louder of the two?

Yes - I meant blue was quieter hearing-wise not talking-wise

We tried swapping the head sets on a road section, massive difference. Drivers hearing volume is about double to the co's. Good job too Rolling Eyes

If you take the front of the unit off (4 screws), there is a little attenuation switch in there. There is no need to remove the PCB, its in one of the corners and very small. If you flick the switch over (with a small screwdriver), it will bring the drivers intercom level up to the same as the co-drivers.
