Evening all. One of the wires on the FTM 110 intercom has a blue sleeve on the connector end (helmet), this related to the mike being lower but which is which? Is the Blue Navs side or drivers?
Thanks.... _________________ Tried selling my soul to the Devil ... but seems the credit cruch has hit them hard as well. |

Well.......
I thought it was blue for drivers (and that's the way Mart Auskerin has his), but multiple independent tests* showed that blue was quieter so that's now the Nav's for me.

Don't you want the co-driver to be the louder of the two? _________________

Yes - I meant blue was quieter hearing-wise not talking-wise _________________ 2010 1600 Intermediate driver

We tried swapping the head sets on a road section, massive difference. Drivers hearing volume is about double to the co's. Good job too _________________ "No Gutts, No Glory" RIP "Papa Rivet"

| If you take the front of the unit off (4 screws), there is a little attenuation switch in there. There is no need to remove the PCB, its in one of the corners and very small. If you flick the switch over (with a small screwdriver), it will bring the drivers intercom level up to the same as the co-drivers. |
